Certain incisions used for breast augmentation can cut breast glandular tissue, which can interfere with milk production and predispose you to mastitis when breastfeeding.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Can Change the Look of Your Breasts

During pregnancy, hormonal changes in your body affect your breasts. Your breasts are made up of both fatty and glandular tissue, which will expand and grow as your baby does. If you decide to breastfeed, milk production, as well as breastfeeding, will affect the size and shape of your breasts.

While many women with breast implants remain happy with their results even after pregnancy, there is a chance that the changes to your breasts will leave you with a deflated or sagging appearance. In many cases, women will then opt for a breast lift or even breast revision surgery.
