"I can not express how much I love this surgeon and his staff. I had a breast lift and reduction done. I had 385cc implants from a previous surgery and exchanged them for 290cc, i reduced them by 100cc. My incisions are super thin like thread, very light. He only uses dissolvable stitches so no coming back to get anything taken off and no drains. The less tugging and pain the better! My nipples are beautiful, i was left with unattractive scars from a previous surgeon & dr Martin corrected them. I have perky, firm breast that fit my tiny frame. He knows exactly what your body is built for, he knows exactly how firm , how round or how much fullness needs to be up top. I’m so happy. I just want to add that it’s not just the work that gets done, it’s the genuine care the staff and Dr Martin provide. They provide the reassurance you need the entire time. They’re readily available for any emergency or concern. Surgery is quick and painless. The anesthesiologist knows her stuff, she’s good. I’m tiny 105lbs 4’11, I always get so scared because I’m so small but you’re in good hands. I had to go under twice because freak accident I did something to my left breast the first night, I had blood leaking which led to a small hematoma. The staff or Dr Martin didn’t cease contact with me or disappear, consistently calling or texting me to advise me, brought me back in immediately and put me in immediate surgery. Cleaned me up and had a new implant put in. None of my work was compromised. They genuinely cared about my well being, if I was in any pain, about my concern for the scars. I felt taken care of and wasn’t left anxious. I truly wish I had come to Dr Martin the first time I had breast implants put in. I made the mistake of going with a different surgeon and I paid the price financially, physically, mentally. 7 years later I corrected it. Do yourself the favor. You’ll be happy you had your surgery with Dr Martin. Don’t worry you’re given good pain meds after the surgery so you’re not in pain. They actually work too. Nicole the RN in the office is a living gem. She will be with you till your last check up. Nothing is ridiculous or too small to ask. I live in Florida, traveled to las cruces so Dr Martin could do my surgery. I was actually sad to leave this office, wish they were in Florida! Good luck ladies! Book your surgery ASAP! you love your body ♥️"

"7 years ago I had an augmentation as well as a lift. The whole experience was amazing, the staff was professional, informative as well as comforting. Recovery was painless! I didn’t even have bruising! By day 3 I felt like myself although I was still under certain restrictions for healing purposes. "Amazing staff and Doctor - I had been wanting a breast augmentation for years. At the beginning of the year I promised myself I would do research and finally go forward with the procedure. So it turns out I bruised pretty easily but my surgeon thinks it was just bruising of the tissues and not bruising in to the pocket. As of today, the bruising has subsided mostly with the exception of a few areas. I am in a lot less pain but each day I am liking them more and more. They still look “fake” but my surgeon says they are still going to drop quite a bit before I can judge the final results. I think that even if I did end up with boobs like they are now, I wouldn’t be so disappointed. The size has definitely grown on me. When I woke up from surgery got home and looked in to the mirror I was shocked and somewhat dissapointed thinking I had gone too big. But as the weeks pass, and they look better and better I am feeling better about them. I am 5’5 and a half, almost 5’6 and weigh 130. Some days my right breast looks and feels super swollen some days it is my left. I will update again soon. :)Updated on 13 Jun 2018:So theUpdated on 23 Oct 2019:I just realized I hadn’t put better photos or an update of how everything actually fell in to place. Here are some photos. Let me know if anyone has any questions. I am 5ft 6 in, 135 pounds, and I was a 34b/c depending on the bra before. "Dr Martin and his staff did a fabulous job on my breast implants. I was always so uncomfortable because I had big Italian hips but no breast tissue. What I thought I had wanted (size wise) Dr Martin talked me out of it letting me know that due to the width of my torso they would protrude from the sides. I'm so glad he talked me out of it, people can't believe that they aren't natural and even though I went from a 34AA to a 34D I can either pick them up or hide them. I also have anxiety when it comes to surgery and they did amazing at keeping me calm. They took me to a quiet room with a comfy chair and that is where they started the anesthesia process. Shortly after medical assistant took my vitals, a nurse administered lidocaine, then started the IV. Upon meeting the anesthesiologist, they gave me something to calm me thru the IV. Finally, i was met with the Dr to confirm if I had any other questions or concerns. Then I was taken into surgery room. I remember it was super cold, they put nice warm blankets on me and another shot of the calming drug. Next, they put me to sleep and it was done! (: Even thought they are swollen and sitting really high, they look amazing and I think I'm going to have the exact look I was hoping for! My pain level isn't that bad, surprisingly!! The medications that he's prescribed is just enough that I'm overall pretty comfortable! I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to use my arms and move them much, but I'm not having any problems at all. It's tight and is a little sore, but it's really not too bad. "Four years later and it's still the BEST money I've ever spent!! - Ok so a little history on me. I am a 34 year old mother of 2 (6 and 2), and I have a demanding career as a OR nurse. I am 5'11" and at my heaviest in 2006 weighed in at a whopping 339lbs! December 2006 I had a LapBand placed and lost 130 lbs in 2 years, and have kept it off for 2 1/2 more years. But after yo-yo wieghtloss, 2 kids, and finally a huge weightloss by body was...unattractive, to say the least. I chose Dr. Scott Martin in Las Cruces, NM. I know many people who have used him and have all been so happy with their results. He is dry but very qualified and I instantly felt at ease with him and his office. My goal was not to look like a supermodel swimsuit model; I just wanted to be a better version of myself. Day 1: (July 31, 2012) Surgery took about 5 hours. I had an extended abdominalplasty, b/l mastopexy, augmentation, and liposuction. I arrived at the surgery center at 7am and was in the car going home at about 2pm. I don't remember much of the recovery room, but I remember thinking that it didn't hurt nearly as bad as I thought it was going to. Dr. Martin does not place drains, so I'm grateful for that, and I was in my compression garment before I woke up. I had to drink and pee before they let me go and they made sure I was comfortable. I slept all the way home. He sent me home with SCD's that I wore whenever I was not up walking. Sleeping in the recliner was definietly the way to go and I was pretty comfortable there. Never would I say that I had "pain", just uncomfortable even at its worst. Day 2: Still a decided lack of pain. I am pale and get winded easily but I am really not hurting like I thought I would. I can get in and out of the recliner by myself as well as on and off the toilet. I am swelling, so I feel so tight but that's the worst of it. I only took 3 pain pills all day! Yay! Day 3: Took a shower today. Had to sit and rest afterwards and then got back into my compression garment because the swelling is fairly significant. But I can still see such a huge difference from before and I'm feeling excited about the whole thing. eating light meals, but never any nausea or vomiting. Went for my first post-op appt today and Dr. Martin said I was doing amazingly well and to keep up the good work, but not to over do it. My mother-in-law and I went to olive garden after the appt. only took 2 pain pills today! Day4: I've started taking tylenol instead of pain pills. I just don't really need them anymore. I do still take a muscle relaxer at night but that's about it. I think I may sleep in the bed tomorrow night because I don't hunch over anymore and can stand up fairly straight. If it doesn't work I can go back to the recliner. I am so amazed at how well this whole thing has gone. I expected so much more pain and, well, just horror. But it's been really a fairly great experience! As soon as the swelling goes down it will be Perfect! I will post pictures soon"
"OMG, Boobies Galore - Alamogordo, NM - It is post-op day four, and I feel fine, I have never had pain. Have only taken the antibotic rx. given. This was a pleasant surprise. However I have very high, and swollen breast. I am 5'5", 130lb, started with a 34B. Implants are Mentor round/smooth HP gel 475c. When all D&F, is over, I hope to be a nice D. So at the moment I feel huge. I also, have been taking Arnica Montana 30 for swelling, brusing & soreness. (I have no brusing). This was suggested from my friend who already had a BA. So far so good. I had a wonderful Dr.and Staff and lots of friends support."
